The new season is over. We have a new old winner in the D1. Congratulations again to Porros.
Now for the essential part, which is in need of improvement. I don't even know when we played a season at the end without a team announcing in the middle that they either cannot or do not want to participate anymore. It is especially stupid for teams that have achieved a positive result against the abandoned team. I can still remember that a championship title was stolen from us because of that. Unfortunately this season it was Balakan. From round 5 they left the league and the admins decided to regulate all games to 0: 0 +3 points. Except for the teams that won against the Balkans. Allegedly it was only Goodfellas (Admin Team) who had achieved a great result against Team Balkan up to this point. So a particularly annoying situation. But then there is this rule that was made before the season (see picture) and once again you ask yourself why we make these rules when they are not followed? Because Balkan didn't even finish 50% this season. If a team leaves the league in the middle of the season, it can decide both the championship battle and the relegation battle.
Now a suggestion from a PESZ team member. Which I don't think is so wrong and you can think about it for the future. In the event of a tie, the direct comparison of the two teams counts. And not the goal difference. Especially when it comes to relegation and championship, I think it's fairer than we currently have. This ensures less distortion of competition. As I said, for the future it is definitely worth considering, should there still be 11v11 in PES22
